UKMediaWatch points to a 2300 word Guardian article on the history of terror in cities which omits mention of Palestinian terrorism. I read the article and noticed that in their zealousness to find instances of Jewish terrorism, the editors and author of the article produced this gramatically incorrect sentence.

There were earlier violent activists which some suggest qualify as terrorists – the Jewish zealots who took on the Romans in early the imperial province of Judea in the first century, the medieval Assassins of the 12th century, even the religious Thuggee cult from the 14th to the 18th centuries in what was to become India.
